MSI has launched six new gaming laptops in the GP, GL and GF series in India. Starting with the GP range, the company now offers two new models: GP76 Leopard and GP66 Leopard. The GL series also includes two new laptops: Pulse GL76 and Pulse GL66. As for the Katana line, it has been replenished with two new models: Katana GF76 and Katana GF66. All of these newly launched laptops from MSI are powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors and Nvidia RTX 3000 series GPUs. Let’s take a look at their prices in India, specifications and availability information.

MSI GP76, GP66, GL76, GL66, GF76 and GF66 prices in India

Let’s start with the GP series. The MSI GP76 Leopard 11UG with 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and RTX 3070 GPU has been priced at Rs 2,01,990. On the other hand, the GP66 Leopard 11UG is priced at Rs 1,95,990 for the same configuration (11th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU + RTX 3070 GPU). Moving on to the GL series, the MSI Pulse GL76 11UEK is powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and RTX 3060 GPU and is priced at Rs 1,45,990. Whereas, the MSI Pulse GL66 11UEK with 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and RTX 3060 GPU is priced at Rs 1,39,990.

In the Katana GF series, the Katana GF76 is available in two configurations: GF76 11UD and GF76 11UC. The first variant is powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and RTX 3050 Ti GPU and is priced at Rs 1,23,990. The second model is powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and RTX 3050 GPU. It is priced at Rs 1,11,990. The Katana GF66 comes in four configurations. The top of the line model comes with an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and RTX 3060 GPU and is priced at Rs 1,28,990. The second variant is equipped with an 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor and RTX 3050 Ti GPU. It costs Rs 1,17,990. The third version is priced at Rs 1,06,990 and is powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and RTX 3050 GPU. The fourth and most affordable model is priced at Rs 95,990 and is powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor and RTX 3050 GPU.

Specifications of MSI GP76 Leopard and GP66 Leopard

The MSI GP76 Leopard features a 17.3-inch FHD LCD display with a 240Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the MSI GP66 Leopard features a 15.6-inch Full HD LCD display with a 240Hz refresh rate. These screens, according to the brand, cover almost 100% of the sRGB color space.

Both laptops are equipped with 11th generation Intel Core i7 processors. However, the brand has not revealed the processor model. In terms of graphics, both models are equipped with Nvidia RTX 3070 GPU. In terms of memory, these laptops have two SODIMM slots that support up to 64GB of memory clocked at 3200 MHz. For storage, there is one PCIe Gen4 x4 slot and one PCIe Gen3 x4 slot for NVMe modules.

Connectivity options on these laptops include dual-band Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, three USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, and one Mini Displayport. Both laptops have a 65Wh battery and come with a 280W power adapter. Other features include dual speakers in a stereo configuration, a per-key SteelSeries RGB keyboard, and an HD webcam.

Specifications of MSI Pulse GL76 and Pulse GL66

The MSI Pulse GL76 features a 17.3-inch Full HD LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Whereas, the Pulse GL66 has a 15.6-inch LCD display with FHD resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The brand claims that these displays cover almost 100% of the sRGB color space.

MSI Pulse GL76 and MSI Pulse GL66 are equipped with 11th generation Intel Core i7 processors. The exact processor model, however, has not been disclosed. In terms of graphics, you get an Nvidia RTX 3060. In terms of memory, there are two SODIMM slots supporting up to 64GB of RAM clocked at up to 3200MHz. There are also two PCIe Gen3 x4 slots for NVMe.

While the MSI Pulse GL76 is equipped with a 53Wh battery, the Pulse GL66 is equipped with a 53.5Wh battery. Both come with 180W power adapters. You get one USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, two USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one USB Type-A 2.0 port, one RJ45 port, one HDMI 2.0 port, and one 3.5mm audio jack. Wireless connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2. There is also an RGB keyboard and an HD webcam.

Specifications of MSI Katana GF76 and Katana GF66

The MSI GF76 features a 17.3-inch FHD LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the GF66 has a 15.6-inch LCD display with Full HD resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. MSI claims that these display panels are “IPS level”.

The MSI Katana GF76 and Katana GF66 are powered by 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, while the latest model is also available with 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processors. The Katana GF76 is available with RTX 3050 and RTX 3050 Ti GPUs, and the Katana GF66 can be used with RTX 3050, RTX 3050 Ti, and RTX 3060 GPUs. You get two SODIMM slots with up to 64GB, 3200 MHz memory and two SSD slots PCIe Gen3 x4 drives.

Both laptops are equipped with 53.5Wh batteries and the brand ships these models with 180W power adapters. Connectivity options include one USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, two USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB Type-A 2.0 port, one RJ45 port, one HDMI 2.0 port, one 3.5mm dual-band audio jack. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.2. These laptops feature an HD webcam and are available with blue or red backlit keyboards.
